A strong story does more than unearth and reveal deep truths.
It's developed, massaged and structured to reveal the vast human tapestry of your life.
Then speak authentically and transparently to connect with your audience —
and trust you'll meet in the middle.
A low-pressure, creative space to practice your craft, connect, and grow.
Tackling a novel, short story, personal essay, or upcoming show...
Bring your ideas, drafts, fears, experiments, rough outlines, doodles...
Polish dialogue, build characters, explore tone, play with structure...
Looking for motivation, brainstorming, or to ignite that spark...
You’ll leave with practical tools and fresh inspiration...
Powerful communication is about authentic connection
When I finished graduate school in NYC, I knew that my education had just started. And to learn outside of books, I'd need to actively explore new opportunities. I taught myself guitar, I taught myself to paint and sculpt, I went Paris alone, with no place to stay, no French, and my tour guide was Hemingway's A Moveable Feast.
I was a flaneur. And I taught myself to write.
Now, I’m an actor, storyteller, and communication coach who has spent over two decades captivating audiences — Off-Broadway, film, television, and national speaking engagements as a certified Creativity Coach.
Along the way, I’ve earned two Best Actor awards in film, a Best Comedian Award for my acclaimed Off-Broadway solo show, and appeared in over forty national commercials and numerous primetime TV shows. I am also a professional voice actor, writer, and storyteller with more than thirty original works staged in Los Angeles.
I'm a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio and hold a Masters (MFA) in Acting from the inaugural class of The Actors Studio at The New School University and a BA in Speech Communications from Texas A&M University.
My background combines techniques I've adopted from writing, acting, storytelling, and public speaking — giving me a uniquely creative
toolkit to help solo performers and speakers take raw ideas and
shape them into compelling, audience-ready material...
...and deliver with confidence, presence, and impact.
